Once it dies it drops living logs(1 as puppling and more as an adult), some sticks and one meat, but don't worry since you can replant it through it's bone item, that takes some days to grow into a puppling again, then you have to train the puppling over, and once it dies the player will receive an instant heavy sanity drain aswell since nobody likes to lose their best friend, if you're the one who killed it i hope you're proud of your living logs and really low chance of obtaining a single krampus sack from the one krampus that spawned, while PETA is coming right to your house to break your kneecaps :> Those are all of the traits i had in mind, there could be more traits than those, once a trait is mastered and a full moon arrives, the puppling will grow into the adult variant respective of that trait, each adult variant is based on a different real life dog breed. mobility: increase it's movement speed and after a certain level you can also mount it similar to a beefalo)Īnd there could many other traits possibilities storing stuff: similar to a chester, each level gives more storage space and after reaching a secound place you could apply upgrades to it similar to chester or hutch swimming: would be able to swim in the water to get stuff for you and once reaches a certain level in this skill reduces your penalty for drowning attacking: bites at enemies and once reaching a certain level it'll start to bark to inflict to enemies temporary weakness I think that it would be a cool creature to the game, it's a dog and a tree, you would get it's bone that also looks like a plant, then it would appear and start following the one holding it similar to chester/hutch/gloomer, it can be trained to get many possible traits while as puppling(puppy+sapling) such as: There are other ways in which this could be implimented, but I really like my second suggestion. If you lose, you would simply wake up on your boat, with no consequence other then time loss. If you win, one, you can leave, two, you get some sort of reward, maybe a blueprint for the farm plots of the gorge, or for the forge, a blueprint for a new weapon. Once your in, it would be exactly the same as were the events. Uppon exiting your boat, there could be a warning that says you might not be able to go back for a while, you would drop all your items would drop on your boat and would be locked inside until either success or failure. There could be ports, which would be the only place you could board on. There could be two brand new islands in the main world, they did impliment sailable oceans with "Return of Them", so this is possible. There could be a setting in the menu in the events settings, with the Winter's Feast, Hallowed Nights, ect.Ģ. Here are some ways I think the Gorge and the Forge could be implimented back into the game.ġ. I personally didn't get the chance to play neither the Gorge nor the Forge, but I have played with mods who make these events come back and I quite enjoyed playing, I really think the gorge and forge should make a comeback, maybe not as an limited event though.
